A book set guiding urban residents through backyard biodiversity support and garden building strategies.
The Books
This design provides urban and suburban residents with the tools to engage with biodiversity through backyard planting strategies
and guides. Focusing on Victorian wildlife supporting plants, this toolkit outlines how to plan, germinate, maintain plant health
and share plants with friends and neighbours.
This project used Adobe Illustrator and InDesign to create illustrations and typography, layout design infographics and branding.
A printed pamphlet was also produced to inform additional distribution possibilities for this project.
The Workshop
The Backyard Biodiversity project was also adapted and resized for a workshop setting as part of Melbourne Knowledge week 2021.
The layout was reworked with a focus on accessibility for children and family groups to participate and connect with the biodiversity story, exercises and guides
